Akali Baba Teja Singh Ji Nihang, born in 1839, assumed the esteemed position of the 11th Jathedar of Budha Dal in 1907. One of his remarkable attributes was his unique way of singing the praises of Akaal Purakh, striking the edge of his Kara with a glass. He adorned the throne of Budha Dal for an impressive span of 22 years, and at the age of 90, he peacefully departed from this world.
